A Short Vacation

I’ll be setting the keyboard aside for a bit …

Hey folks, this is just a quick note to let you know that I’m putting my writing on hold for a couple of weeks. We’ve got a really fun vacation planned: we’ll be placing the first stage of our adventure entirely in the hands of our friends Chris and Siobhan, who live in the Lake District in England; we’ve given them carte blanche to do with us what they will, and it’s incredibly fun that we have no idea what they have in store. After that, it’s off to two of the greatest racetracks in the world, where I’ll experience my lifelong dream of driving at Spa de Francorchamps and the Nürburgring Nordschleife, and Sara will draw. Finally, we’ll deposit ourselves in Paris for a little short of a week, where we aspire to be flâneurs. Who knows, maybe I’ll wander across material for a future story.

It’s funny to set my newsletter aside for a time. There so much advice to publish weekly, whatever you do, but this violates my desire to only publish stuff that’s worth reading. There are other places for vacation pics and witty asides!
