One question and one comment. What camera do you have? These are great shots, even the zoom ones. And also, blue herons I call pterodactyls and convinced my niece when she was young that she was seeing one.
Nikon D7500 with a 18-400 zoom--definitely helps on those far away birds! And that’s so funny you call them pterodactyls--that’s exactly what we call them too. I’m amazed I didn’t put that in there!
