I really enjoy what you've got going here! There is so much about this ongoing saga that strikes a cord with me, even though it's fiction. I enjoy software engineering, but I've had enough of EBITDA, takeovers, sales, restructuring, etc., and would retire tomorrow if I could. Looking forward to the continuation!
Brian, thanks so much. This chapter (and a couple others) take some of their energy from the difficult last several years of my work life, when this sweet company we had built got all screwed up. Putting that behind me (and using bits and pieces of it in my fiction) has been really great.

That's great you're able to pull some inspiration from some of the not so great aspects. Those can be the most real and relatable in fiction. 👍
